    Meet Cryst See Thoo –

    Founder of Highlands Healing Sanctuary

Gong Master • Sound Therapist • Voice Healer • Space Holder

Cryst’s journey into sound healing began not from a textbook—but from a calling.

After more than a decade in high-performing corporate roles and running a thriving restaurant in Cameron Highlands, Cryst found herself longing for something deeper: to bring peace, clarity, and balance not only to herself, but to those who crossed her path.

What started as a personal search for healing evolved into a soul-led mission. For over 15 years, she has immersed herself in the art and energy of sound—studying under the Great Gong Master ~ Don Conreaux and working with gongs, singing bowls, tuning forks, voice, and other sacred instruments.

Her sessions are intentionally small and deeply personal—often one-on-one or in intimate groups—held in a cozy home studio designed for privacy, safety, and deep rest.

She believes healing doesn’t have to be dramatic; it just has to be real. And with her intuitive voice work and heart-led presence, she creates a space where even the most restless spirits find calm.

Cryst doesn’t just play sound—she listens to your energy, your breath, your unspoken emotions. She meets you where you are, and gently invites you back to balance.

A Journey That Listens Beyond Sound

Cryst’s journey into sound healing is shaped by more than instruments or techniques—it’s shaped by presence, truth, and a deep return to self.

She trained as a Gong Master under the esteemed Don Conreaux, and has continued to deepen her path through advanced practices in voice work and energy-based sound healing.

While in Bali, she studied how to unlock the authentic voice—not the polished voice we show the world, but the raw, honest sound that comes from our soul. This work opened the gateway to one of the most overlooked yet powerful energy centers: the throat chakra.

Through this journey, Cryst experienced deep moments of reflection and emotional release.

She came face to face with the truth that many of us try to avoid—that life can be simple, but it takes immense courage to live simply, to speak honestly, and to slow down in a world that values constant doing.

That’s why her sessions aren’t rushed or routine.
They are slow, intentional, and rooted in listening—to energy, breath, silence, and emotion.

🌿 Whether it’s a one-on-one session or a small circle, Cryst meets each person exactly where they are, gently guiding them back to balance.

🌿 Her role isn’t to fix—but to hold space, so that your own inner wisdom can emerge.

Clients often describe a session not just as “relaxing,” but as a turning point—where they finally hear themselves again, often for the first time in years.

“Sound taught me that healing doesn’t need to be loud or dramatic. Sometimes, the deepest healing is quiet and real.” — Cryst See Thoo

A Quiet Space to Come Back to Yourself

This isn’t a spa. It’s not a retreat center. It’s something more personal—a space where you can finally breathe again.

Cryst’s home studio in the cool hills of Cameron Highlands is intentionally small and warmly designed, welcoming only one to four people at a time. It’s a place where you don’t have to explain yourself. You don’t have to know how to meditate. You don’t even have to talk—just lie back, and let the sound hold you.

Whether you come feeling tired, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply curious, each session meets you where you are. Cryst works intuitively, guided by years of training and a deep trust in the body’s wisdom.

Through gongs, singing bowls, tuning forks, and her voice, she creates a space where your nervous system can finally soften, your breath can deepen, and your mind can slow down.

💫 No need to “be spiritual” or understand chakras.
💫 Ideal for solo travelers, couples, caregivers, or anyone feeling mentally or emotionally full.
💫 Gentle, safe, and deeply restorative sessions—designed for real people living real lives.

Clients often leave not just relaxed—but clearer, lighter, and more connected to themselves.
Because healing isn’t about fixing what’s wrong.
    It’s about remembering what’s whole.

“You don’t have to do anything to deserve rest. Just come as you are—and let sound do the rest.” — Cryst See Thoo

There’s something profoundly healing about lying under open skies, surrounded by trees, with the earth beneath you and the sound of gongs and bowls gently washing through the air.

At your request, I offer outdoor sound bath sessions in the tranquil parks of Cameron Highlands—where cool mountain breezes, birdsong, and the scent of pine blend effortlessly with the healing vibrations of sound.

These sessions allow participants to reconnect not just with themselves, but with nature. The grounding energy of the earth enhances the effects of sound healing, helping to release emotional tension, regulate the nervous system, and invite deep rest.

Community Sound Bath for World Mental Health Day

In conjunction with World Mental Health Day, I co-facilitated a sound bath session alongside a fellow singing bowl sound healer, creating a deeply restorative space for a corporate community seeking calm, clarity, and connection.

Together, we held space for participants to pause, breathe, and release—using the resonance of singing bowls and gongs to gently support emotional well-being and inner stillness.

The session was designed to ease stress and enhance mental clarity. Feedback shared by attendees highlighted a noticeable shift in their emotional state, focus, and overall workplace morale.

💬 “It felt like my mind could finally rest—and I didn’t know how much I needed that.”

When sound meets intention, healing begins.
